James Allen is a rapidly growing e-commerce retailer specializing in engagement rings, bridal jewelry, and loose diamonds. Their innovative Diamond Display Technology offers a unique and interactive shopping experience, allowing customers to view each of their ring settings and conflict-free diamonds in magnified 360° HD. With this technology, customers can also design their own custom-made jewelry pieces.

As the Art Director at James Allen, I was tasked with establishing the brand's visual identity and ensuring consistent implementation across all design elements. I managed a team of designers to produce impactful online marketing campaigns and personally directed photoshoot activities, including model casting, product selection, and wardrobe styling. One of the biggest challenges in my role was bridging the gap between the online shopping experience and the emotional significance of purchasing an engagement ring. However, by incorporating a human touch into all our photography and marketing pieces, we were able to bring the magic of trying on a ring to life and provide a more personalized and memorable shopping experience, even on a screen.
